  • "I rather enjoyed myself on the witness stand, because I got to explain in very great detail that to intelligent design creationists like me:

'science' means pseudoscience (like astrology) and anti-science (like intelligent design creationism)

'peer review' means phone calls with people that have no expertise in the subject matter that haven’t even read the object of review

'rigor' means quantity devoid of all quality

No amount of scientific evidence can refute intelligent design creationism, so we don't even bother to look at the evidence.

The intelligent designer is the God of Christianity.

The intelligent designer may be dead and this idea should be taught as a part of intelligent design theory.

    'ethics' means malicious fraud" ;)

'I shall attempt to describe the payoff between the insidious, creeping horror of the tattered remains of my conscience and the significant salary increase which came with switching to lauding pseudoscience. It's okay.'

    'My chances of winning?'
